Sébastien Daucé is a conductor, organist and harpsichordist. In 2009, he founded the ensemble Correspondances, with which he has recorded around twenty albums for the Harmonia Mundi label, all of them widely acclaimed by the international press. Today, the ensemble performs in some of Europe’s leading concert halls, including the Philharmonie de Paris, Hamburg, Berlin, Madrid, Brussels, Amsterdam.

A passionate advocate of seventeenth-century French music, Daucé first established Correspondances through its acclaimed interpretations of Charpentier’s works. The ensemble has since expanded its repertoire to include Bach and Handel. Its opera productions—including the Ballet Royal de la Nuit and Cavalli’s La Calisto —have been presented on some of Europe’s most prestigious stages, such as the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, the Opéra Royal de Versailles, and the Théâtre de l’Archevêché at the Aix-en-Provence Festival.

Together with Céline Portes, he is Artistic Co-Director of the Promenades Musicales du Pays d’Auge , a festival presenting around sixty events each July in the heart of Normandy, as well as the Heures Musicales de la Sainte-Chapelle in Paris, held each autumn.

His forthcoming engagements include performances in Paris, Madrid, Gdańsk and London, as well as a tour of the United States / Canada in December 2026.
